West Coast Lifestyle Group Assignment

West Coast Wear Assignment

Students were handed out an article on East Coast Lifestyle, and  shown a few videos in class. There was a worksheet which had a number of questions on it that will be handed in on Friday. It is out of 30 and is worth 15 marks. This will be presented next Tues in class.

In groups of 3: Due next Tues in class.

  1. brainstorm ideas, symbols, images that focus on the West Coast
  2.  each member will then create a logo for a new West Coast Wear clothing brand. Include all three logos and have each person's name on the logo they produced.
  3. as a group you will decide the logo that works best to represent the brand.  I suggest this is done digitally unless you are a good drawer. Use Canva.
  4. Please provide a copy of all three logos and then explain why you chose the one you did to present to the company, explaining its features and benefits as it relates to the company's mission and your target market.
  5. Once you create your logos, you will apply them to three (3) new products
  6. Create a slogan or tag line for the new line
  7. Determine the price for each of the 3 products, and determine your target market
  8. Create a mini PowerPoint showcasing your 3 logos and the one you chose along with a pitch to the company CEO about the beauty of your logo and why it is a good fit for the new company. Each member in the group should be part of the presentation.
  9. The group will be asked to evaluate themselves and each group members contribution to the project.

  • the company believes in the beauty of west coast living
  •  a percentage of profits will go to an ocean cleanup organization
